India's fight against Covid-19 in 2021
Drishti helped procure and send Oxygen Concentrators

Wave 2  of Covid-19 was severe in India in 2021. Concentrators were limited and at a high cost. Hospital beds were not available for many.
Patients were seeking oxygen outside of hospital settings. Concentrators in smaller settings, (including home care) helped keep patients out of hospitals and reduced the burden on hospitals.

Drishti partnered with other organizations  -
- 127 Oxygen Concentrator units were dispatched in 4 batches (Specifications - 5L and 10L oxygen concentrators of 93% concentration)
- This was voluntary work. 500+ services hours were put in a period of 5 to 6 weeks

- $56,000 worth of units were donated, and a total of $130,000 worth of units shipped to India

- Units were sent to various places in India to 37 cities and towns across 13 states

- The units reached 88 families and more than 21 care organizations including hospitals
